Incognito Marketing today announced that it has been hired by the Colorado Springs Office of International Affairs for marketing services in order to generate better awareness of its focus and purpose. The office is a coordinating agency for international activities and programs in Colorado Springs and is a “one-stop-shop” for local companies interested in international business and trade.

The Office of International Affairs provides many important and valuable services to the local community. They needed a mechanism through which to tell their story in a quick and compelling way. (more…)

Incognito Marketing today announced that it has been engaged by the Monte Vista Economic Development Corporation for marketing services in order to attract new jobs to the area and help retain existing businesses.

Manufacturers are in need of lower cost locations to move their facilities in lieu of going overseas and Monte Vista needs jobs. “We know that Monte Vista has a great deal to offer a company looking for a better, safer and less expensive place to locate its facility,” said Charles Spielman, corporation president. “What we need is help in identifying and targeting appropriate companies to make sure we are on their list for consideration. Incognito Marketing today announced that the Incognito Marketing Scholarship has been established at Pueblo Community College (PCC) for the purpose of supporting manufacturing related education.

“Companies such as Incognito Marketing make it possible for students to receive a high level of education at PCC who might not be able to afford it otherwise. We are thrilled to add Incognito Marketing to our growing list of supporters,” said Diane Porter, executive director of the Pueblo Community College Foundation.

Students enrolled at PCC in machining technology, industrial electronics technology, engineering technology or welding technology are eligible. The scholarship is base on financial need. To qualify, students must carry a minimum of nine credit hours per semester, maintain a 3.0 GPA per semester, and cannot qualify for financial aid. The scholarships will be awarded in the fall and spring semesters, for two years provided the student meets the scholarship criteria. (more…)

Colorado manufacturing companies have embraced lean manufacturing, formed task forces and are actively sharing ideas, opportunities and resources to help them stay in business and hopefully grow. One element that has not been talked about much yet, but is equally important is “Lean Marketing.”

Lean manufacturing, a philosophy aimed at eliminating waste from the production process, has helped thousands of corporations in Colorado and around the world improve productivity in their manufacturing processes. However, the growth of these companies is now being constrained by their inability to increase sales and fill the newly found production capacity.

The challenge of marketing is to fill the increased capacity with orders. “It doesn’t make much sense to spend the time and money to employ lean manufacturing tactics and continue on with fat marketing, or worse yet no marketing,” according to Greg Snyder, president and CEO of Incognito Marketing. “Lean marketing is a very effective way to turn the increased capacity gains achieved from lean manufacturing into increased sales and growth.
